Ordering & Payment

How can I place an order through the configurator?

Placing an order is simple and fully guided by our configurator:

  1. Design your product – Follow the step-by-step process in the configurator to design your aluminium window or door according to your exact dimensions and preferences. (If you’re new to the configurator, you can find a short tutorial in our Quick Guides section.)

  2. Get an instant quote – Once your design is complete, the configurator automatically calculates the total price of your custom product.

  3. Add to cart and order – Add your product to the cart. The system will automatically include shipping costs based on your location. After confirming your order, you’ll receive a confirmation email.

  4. Order verification – After your order is placed, our technical team reviews it to ensure everything is feasible and correctly configured. Once verified, you’ll receive a final approval email confirming that your order has entered production.

If any technical issue or inconsistency is detected, our team will contact you directly to discuss potential solutions together.
And of course, if you need help at any step, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to assist throughout the process.

Do I need an account to make a purchase?

No, you can place an order as a guest without creating an account. However, we highly recommend registering an account to make your shopping experience easier and more convenient.

By creating an account, you’ll be able to:

  • View and manage your order history

  • Track your current orders more easily

  • Quickly reorder previous configurations

  • Access exclusive promotions and participate in our referral program

  • Enjoy smoother communication and documentation with our support team

If you’re a dealer or professional partner, having an account also grants access to special pricing and additional project tools.

What payment methods are accepted?

All prices displayed on our website are shown in euros (EUR) for convenience, but we accept payments in multiple currencies through our secure payment provider Stripe.

You can pay using:

  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro)

  • Digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay)

  • Local and international payment options supported by Stripe

We also accept bank transfers, which are ideal for larger or business orders. Please note that bank transfer confirmations may take a little longer to process compared to online payments.

All transactions are processed securely, and payment confirmation will be sent automatically once your order is verified.

Can I receive an invoice for my order?

Yes — an official invoice is automatically generated once your order is confirmed and payment is received. The invoice includes all details of your purchase and is sent directly to your email.

All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax).
If you are an international customer eligible for VAT refund, please refer to the question “How do I get my VAT refunded?” for detailed instructions on the process.

How can I edit or cancel my order after it’s placed?

Once an order is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded, as all products offered through KozijnenPro are custom-made according to your specific configuration.
In accordance with EU consumer law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to made-to-order products.

As stated in Article 9.2 of our Terms and Conditions, all orders placed via kozijnenpro.nl are considered made-to-order and are therefore non-returnable and non-refundable, unless the item is defective or delivered incorrectly.

However, minor edits may still be possible before production begins.
If you need to make an adjustment, please contact our support team immediately after placing your order, so we can review the feasibility together before manufacturing starts.

How do I get my VAT refunded?

All orders are invoiced with Dutch VAT (21%) included.
If your delivery address is outside the European Union, you may be eligible for a VAT refund once the export is verified.

To process the refund, please provide one of the following valid import documents:

  • 📄 Bill of Lading at the port of destination

  • 📑 Customs clearance document confirming successful import

Once we receive and verify one of these documents, our team will initiate your VAT refund promptly.
Please note that processing times may vary depending on the documentation provided and the destination country.

Shipping & Delivery

Do you deliver outside the Netherlands?

Yes — KozijnenPro offers worldwide delivery.
Our products can be shipped to most countries across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and other regions.

When you enter your address in the cart or checkout section, the system will automatically check whether shipping is available to your destination.
Please note that for certain countries, shipping and sales may not be supported due to regional restrictions.

All deliveries are made on a door-to-door basis, meaning the products are delivered to the specified address. However, customs clearance and import procedures are the customer’s responsibility once the shipment arrives in the destination country.

Our logistics team collaborates with reliable, verified transport partners depending on the delivery country, ensuring that every shipment reaches its destination safely and efficiently.

How are shipping costs calculated?

Shipping costs are calculated automatically during checkout based on multiple factors, including:

  • Total weight and volume of the products in your cart

  • The destination country and delivery route

  • Whether the shipment crosses oceans or remains within continental transport routes

  • The type of transport — container load (FCL/LCL) or truckload (FTL/LTL) — required for your order

Our system evaluates all these parameters in real time and provides a single, transparent shipping price for your entire cart before you confirm your order.
This ensures you always see the full delivery cost upfront — with no hidden charges or surprises.

How long does delivery usually take?

Delivery times vary depending on your location and the chosen shipping method.
Below you can find the estimated transit times after production:

Please note that production time depends on your product configuration.
You will be informed of the expected dispatch and delivery window once your order is confirmed.
External factors such as customs clearance, route delays, or logistics capacity may also affect total delivery time, especially for overseas shipments.

Will I receive tracking information for my shipment?

Yes — once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive an email containing the tracking link and code provided by our shipping partner.
With this link, you can monitor your shipment’s status in real time, from departure to final delivery.

Every shipment includes a full set of export and transport documents to ensure a smooth customs process:

  • Commercial Invoice

  • Certificate of Origin

  • Country-specific export documents

  • Packing List

  • Optional export declarations (if required)

Our logistics team will assist you with any formalities to ensure a seamless import clearance in your country.

Can I arrange my own delivery?

Yes — arranging your own transport or pickup is possible, but only upon prior agreement with our team before placing the order.
If you plan to use your own logistics partner, please contact us in advance so we can coordinate the necessary details and prepare the goods for collection.

Please note that in such cases, KozijnenPro and its shipping partners assume no responsibility for the shipment once it leaves our facility.
This includes any matters related to transport insurance, customs clearance, delivery delays, or product handling during transit.

While we support customer-arranged transport upon request, please keep in mind that using KozijnenPro’s trusted logistics network is always the safer and more efficient option, as it ensures full insurance coverage, proper handling, and complete delivery tracking under our supervision.

Some things to know about delivery.

Before your order is dispatched, please keep the following in mind:

  • Make sure the delivery location is accessible for trucks or containers.

  • Deliveries are curbside only – unloading is the customer’s responsibility.

  • All shipments are insured, but any damage must be reported within 24 hours with clear photos.

  • Tracking details will be sent to you once the order leaves our facility.

Our logistics team is always available to assist with delivery planning, import documents, and choosing the best shipping method for your region.

Configurator & Products

Can I request a custom design not available in the configurator?

In most cases, all available options and configurations are already included in our online configurator.
However, if you have a unique or highly specific design request, we still encourage you to contact our technical team to discuss the possibilities.

You can easily reach us through the contact form, where you may also upload supporting files or drawings.
Our engineers will review your request and let you know if the design can be produced or adapted within our system.

If a custom solution is approved, it will appear in your cart as a separate item with its own price, calculated according to the additional work or materials required.

While not all off-configurator designs are feasible, our team is always happy to evaluate your idea and guide you toward the best possible solution.

Can I save my configuration and continue later?

Yes — if you have a KozijnenPro account, you can easily save your configuration and continue later.
Simply add your designed product to the cart, and it will be stored automatically under your account.

Whenever you log back in, you can open the saved item from your cart, review or modify your configuration, and proceed directly to checkout when you’re ready.

This feature allows you to refine your design at your own pace and ensures that no details are lost between sessions.

(Guest users can still explore and design freely, but saving and resuming configurations requires an active account.)

Do you offer installation?

KozijnenPro currently focuses on manufacturing and delivery of custom aluminium systems.
We do not provide on-site installation services, as our products are shipped worldwide to both private customers and professional builders.

However, our team can recommend trusted installation partners in selected regions and provide detailed installation manuals and documentation for your specific product.
All our systems are designed for easy and precise assembly by qualified installers.
